Skydiving is a sport involving a skydiver jumping down from an airplane while it is flying and parachuting to the ground. Skydiving can be done individually and with other people. Training is required to go solo.

Sport Skydiving is one of many Air Sports one can enjoy in Ireland. Tandem Skydiving is the ideal method of skydiving training that prepares you for the exciting sport of skydiving.

Tandem Skydiving and training under the immediate supervision of a qualified and experienced Tandem Skydiving Instructor, provides a one-to-one training method. It provides a platform to enable the Student Skydiver become comfortable with FreeFall and Parachute Flight Navigation. Tandem Skydiving can be considered to be the equivalent of taking flight lessons with a Flight Instructor, before flying Solo. For safety reasons, we require that Tandem Skydiving is mandatory before going on a Solo Skydive.

Your Tandem Instructor has accomplished a high level of skill and competence and is able to teach you everything you need to know for the freefall and parachute navigation. At all parts of the skydive and parachute flight, you are securely attached to the Tandem Instructor, who guides every part of the Freefall control and Parachute Flight Navigation and landing.

This expert training and supervision provided by the your Tandem Instructor means you have more scope to enjoy the experience while at the same time not be overwhelmed by the technical aspects of the sport. The more skydiving and training you decide to do the more skills your Tandem Instructor will be able to teach you and you may then decide you want to train to go Solo.

Many Chinese groups have participated in Sky diving and would highly recommend it to everyone.

Weather: Skydiving is extremely weather dependent. Cloud, and visibility conditions effect our flying due to safety and aviation regulations. Wind limits effect parachute flight safety.

Age: Our minimum age for a Tandem Skydive is 18 years old. We have no maximum age limit. If you are over 50 years old then we will require your doctors approval and will send you a Medical Certificate.

Medical: If you have any medical conditions or are taking any prescribed medication you will need to have your doctor complete a medical certificate. Ask us for help on this matter.

If you have any current or past injury, any rods, pins, plates, screws this can cause limitations.

Height & Weight: Skydiving Equipment has certified maximum weight limitations. This maximum weight limits determine how much weight combined is permitted to be carried on the parachute equipment.

We also set a Body Mass Index based on your Height & Weight. It is essential that your weight is proportionate to your height. This is ESSENTIAL for your safe landing to avoid injury.
